Q: When is the Beanery Café closing?
A: Our final day of café & shop service will be Saturday 23rd August — exactly two years since we first opened our doors.
Q: Why is the café closing?
A: This has been a very difficult decision. Rising costs have made it increasingly challenging to sustain the café side of our business. We’re closing the café now to ensure the long-term strength and sustainability of Hollychocs as a whole — especially our online shop, corporate gifting, wholesale growth, and experiences.
Q: Is Hollychocs closing completely?
A: Not at all! This is simply the end of our drop-in café and shop. Hollychocs is very much alive — and growing! You’ll still be able to:
• Shop online (with UK-wide delivery)
• Collect local orders
• Join us for one of our chocolate experiences & tastings
• Order seasonal gifts, hampers & custom treats
Q: Can I still visit your shop after the café closes?
A: While we’ll no longer be open for daily drop-ins, our space will remain open for pre-booked collections, and chocolate experiences.
Q: Will you still be selling your chocolates locally?
A: Yes! Our full range will still be available online, with local pickup options. We’ll also be working to expand our wholesale offering to work with selected local stockists and partners.
Q: What happens to my existing gift vouchers?
A: All vouchers are still valid for online orders. If you have any concerns, just drop us a message — we’re happy to help.
Q: Can I still order for birthdays, gifts or weddings?
A: Absolutely — and we’d love to help you create something special. Whether it's a custom chocolate frame, a hamper, or favours for a big day, we’re still here and taking orders.
Q: Will you still be doing your chocolate experiences?
A: Yes! Our Chocolate Masterclasses, Tasting Experiences, and Private Bookings are continuing — and growing! You can check availability and book online as usual, or get in touch to arrange a Private Experience for your group or team.
Q: What’s next for Hollychocs?
A: We’re focusing on expanding our online sales, and corporate and wholesale partnerships. It’s the next chapter for Hollychocs — and we’re so excited for what’s to come.
