💛 Sweet Treats for a Sweet Cause: Celebrate ‘Wear It Yellow’ Week with Henry Duck

This week at Hollychocs, we’re proudly turning chocolate into support as we join the Cystic Fibrosis Trust’s national ‘Wear It Yellow’ campaign – raising funds and awareness for families affected by cystic fibrosis.

And we’ve got a whole mix of meaningful (and delicious!) ways for you to get involved.

🦆 Henry – Our Charity Chocolate Duck

Say hello to Henry Duck, our handmade chocolate duck with a heart of gold.

He’s crafted from our smooth 45% cocoa milk chocolate and decorated with gold and yellow cocoa butter, echoing the colours of Cystic Fibrosis Awareness. He’s named after my nephew, making this campaign especially personal for us.

For every Henry Duck sold, we’ll donate £1 to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust UK, helping fund vital research and supporting families like ours.

🍨 Try the Limited-Edition Henry Duck Sundae

From Thursday 13 to Saturday 15 June, pop into The Beanery Café to try our limited-edition Henry Duck Sundae:

🍦 Vanilla gelato
🦆 ½ a handmade Henry Duck
🍯 Crushed shards of award-winning honeycomb
🍮 Lava salted caramel drizzle

£1 from every sundae goes to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust UK.

🎯 Hook-a-Duck Giveaway – 12–14 June

Every café purchase between Thursday 12 and Saturday 14 June includes a numbered mini duck. One lucky number will win a full-size Henry Duck!

It’s a fun way to add a little surprise to your order – and helps us raise even more for this brilliant cause.

💛 Wear It Yellow – A Cause Close to Our Hearts

This Friday, our family – and many others in our village – will be proudly wearing yellow to mark Wear It Yellow Day in support of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

For us, this day holds deep personal meaning. My nephew was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis at just two weeks old, and it changed our family forever. Since then, we’ve seen first-hand the resilience and strength it takes to live with this condition – and the power of community, awareness, and ongoing support.

Cystic fibrosis (CF) affects over 10,000 people in the UK. It’s a genetic disorder that causes thick, sticky mucus to build up in the lungs and digestive system, leading to serious, lifelong complications. While treatments have improved, there is still no cure – and daily life with CF remains incredibly challenging.

This Friday, Seend Primary School will be joining us by wearing yellow to help spark conversations and raise awareness. We’re inviting everyone in our village – and beyond – to join us too. Whether it’s a yellow t-shirt, scarf, ribbon, or even socks, every splash of yellow is a step towards greater understanding.

From our family to yours – thank you.
For wearing yellow. For treating yourself. For supporting families like ours. Together, we can make a difference 💛

With heartfelt thanks,
Holly Garner & the Hollychocs Team
