We’ve done it again - 4 awards and all of them GOLD!

Riding high on the back of 3 coveted industry awards in as many months, you’d think I’d be pretty chilled about entering another 4 of my chocolatey offspring into The Taste of the West 2020 Awards, but not a bit of it - I think I was even more nervous this time round!

Then came the announcement, 4 entries and 4 GOLDS!  I breathed a huge, happy sigh of relief and let the news sink in.  After only 9 months of trading, Hollychocs is now the proud owner of 7 coveted chocolate industry awards.

Being recognised as a credible addition to the world of chocolate-making has not only given me a warm fuzzy glow, but is also a way of showing you, our lovely customer, just how good we are.  

Who are Taste of the West?

Established in 1991, Taste of the West are the largest independent membership organisation and regional food group in the UK with a membership of food and drink producers, distributors, restaurants, cafes, pubs, hotels, farm shops and specialist retailers.

Their aim is simple, to champion, promote and support all that’s best in the region (Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Somerset and Wiltshire) and, through their annual awards scheme, ensure that high standards are maintained.

Their ethos today remains the same as it's always been - quality, integrity and provenance.

After leaving Cadbury and starting up my own independent chocolate studio, I set out to be the best Chocolatier and Chocolate Engineer I could be.  Being a multi award-winner so early on has not only given me the determination to be even better than that, but also shows you (my lovely customer) just how sensational my chocolates are.  I’m so glad you are joining me on my award-winning journey.
